This is my first year as a third grade bilingual teacher. During this year I had the opportunity to teach while advancing my own educational career. I am eager to continue learning new teaching strategies to better my students. It has been a challenge, but they say that the first year is the hardest.

While searching the net for new websites that cater to teachers, I stumbled upon Chicago School Supply. I was introduced to many great ideas on their Education BLOG and discovered many free projects to incorporate into my classroom. What I most enjoy about the Chicago School Supply's website is its navigational simplicity. I plan on purchasing the Ant Hill kit for the 2009-2010 school year so my students can be introduced to an ant's life cycle.

I am a Special Education teacher at Inter-American School, a dual language program that approaches education through the study of the America’s. I provide services for grades Kindergarten through 5th grade and with that said you can understand how time and resources is valued.

The Schoodoodle site is one of the many sites I am able to find free lesson plans that can be easily downloaded and adapted for my student’s and those I tutor. It’s a great feature and it has given me more time to spend with my students.
