Scenic Shore 150 to Support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Chicago School Supply is proud to support the riders of the Scenic Shore 150 as they raise funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!
For the past eleven years, Bennett Ockrim has been able to combine his love of bicycling with an effort to raise funds to battle Leukemia and Lymphoma. The team he rides with, The Rolling Hills Riders, has raised over $85,000 to battle this terrible killer!
This year, Bennett has decided to take up the challenge again and is participating in the Scenic Shore 150. The Scenic Shore 150 Bike Tour is a 2 day,150 mile cycling event (from Mequon to Door County) to benefit the mission of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Scenic Shore is the largest locally planned event for the Wisconsin Chapter of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
With 68 chapters spanning the US and Canada, The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is the world’s largest and fastest-growing voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society raises funds for that mission and stewards those funds well. 75 cents of every dollar raised goes towards supporting the mission of finding a cure.
