Background:
Carolyn began her career teaching customer classes at IBM where she spent almost 20 years in various positions that all dealt with ensuring customer satisfaction. Herman Miller, an office furniture manufacturer, was where she spent the next three years.
While her 2 sons were teenagers, Carolyn stepped out of the business world to stay home and enjoy being a full-time Mom. During that time, she volunteered in their schools and grew more passionate about education. When the older son, currently a PhD Economics candidate at UCSD, left for college, she began substitute teaching. She also worked at a publishing company of k-12 textbooks for almost 9 years. In May 2009, she and her husband proudly attended the graduation of their younger son from the University of Missouri, Columbia.
In August 2009, Carolyn joined the Chicago School Supply team and is dedicated to the schools in Missouri and Southern Illinois. She works out of her office in Chesterfield, Missouri, where she lives with her husband and one of her sons.
